Marek Paščák comes from DATALAN, where he worked for 25 years, including more than 8 years as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. During his tenure as CEO at DATALAN, he was involved in all aspects of the company’s management and operations and worked closely with senior management to support growth and ensure the company’s stability. He was actively involved in operations, finance, marketing, human resources, and team management.
As he himself says, “The 25 years I spent at DATALAN were filled with constant learning, growth, and challenges that shaped me not only as a professional but also as a person.”
At DATALAN, he developed cooperation and connections between business and the academic and research spheres. He was involved in projects such as the Slovak Infrastructure for High-Performance Computing , the creation of a digital biobank to support systemic public research infrastructure, and joint research and development projects for Slovak universities.
